• Profile information such as class, board, subjects, and academic preferences

These details help us identify your account and shape the experience for the right grade and syllabus.​

Learning and usage data

To personalise study plans and track progress, Karya AI records how you use the app, including:​

• Tasks and assignments
• Subjects and board details
• Academic progress and performance
• Planner activity and to‑do items
• Reports generated by the app

This information stays linked to your account and is used only for Karya AI features. We do not sell this data to anyone.​

How we use your information

We use the information above to make Karya AI useful and safe, for example to:​

• Create personalised study plans and academic schedules
• Generate AI based responses to questions and doubts
• Track progress across subjects and prepare performance reports
• Assist with creating Statements of Purpose (SOP) when you request it
• Send reminders, alerts, and other important notifications
• Improve how the app looks, feels, and performs
• Detect misuse and keep accounts secure

Again, we do not sell your personal data.​

We keep your data only while it is needed to:​

• Provide Karya AI services

If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, unless the law requires a longer retention.

Children and parental consent

Karya AI is intended for students. If you are under 13 years old, or younger than the legal minimum age in your country, you may need permission from a parent or guardian to use the app.​

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without the necessary consent, we will delete that information as soon as we can.​

Your choices and rights

Depending on the laws where you live, you may have the right to:​

• Correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your data
• Ask for a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent, where consent is the basis for processing

Deleting your account

We occasionally update this Privacy Policy as the app grows or the law changes. When we make a change, we publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top so you can see when it was last revised.
